Amending the 2025 spending budget in the Department of Public Works Electric Vehicle Maintenance accounting unit to budget for a new service level agreement with Zef Energy for 2025 to maintain electrical vehicle charging stations city-wide.

WHEREAS, the ELECTRIC VEHICLE MAINTENANCE accounting unit is expected to incur services and materials costs that are more than the adopted budget; and
WHEREAS, these additional expenses are the result of maintenance needs related to the upkeep of electric vehicle chargers for the Evie carshare project; and
WHEREAS, a new service level agreement has been proposed with the current provider and installer of the electric vehicle chargers; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient savings in salaries and fringes to cover the above costs; therefore via
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter, and on the request of the Director of the Public Works Department to amend the 2025 budget in the Public Works ELECTRIC VEHICLE MAINTENANCE accounting unit, the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the manner as specified in the attached financial analysis.
