Approving the Mayor's appointment of Anika Bowie to serve on the League of Minnesota Cities.

WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities is a membership association dedicated to promoting excellence in local government; and
WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of local elected and appointed city officials, serves its more than 800 member cities through advocacy, education and training, policy development, risk management, and other services; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Melvin Carter wishes to appoint City Council Member Anika Bowie as a member of the League of Minnesota Cities; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the appointment of Anika Bowie to the remainder of a term on the League of Minnesota Cities ending January 01, 2029.
