Scheduling hearings to make findings on substantial nuisance abatement orders.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council issues orders for the repair and/or razing and removal of nuisance and dangerous structures; and
WHEREAS, there is a distinct public purpose to be served by formally determining if the nuisance and/or dangerous conditions have been abated; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer has made recommendations, which were adopted by the Council, to grant time for the rehabilitation or razing and removal of the ensuing list of properties; Now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council directs the Legislative Hearing Officer to provide a report with findings on the status of the nuisance abatement for the following properties, on the following schedule;
• 129 Jessamine Avenue East (RLH RR 16-28) Legislative Hearing June 6, 2017 and Council Public Hearing June 7, 2017.
• 910 Sixth Street East (RLH RR 16-22) Legislative Hearing June 13, 2017 and Council Public Hearing June 21, 2017.
• 1062 Front Avenue (RLH RR 17-6) Legislative Hearing July 11, 2017 and Council Public Hearing July 19, 2017.
• 1150 Reaney Avenue (RLH RR 16-52) Legislative Hearing July 25, 2017 and Council Public Hearing August 2, 2017.
• 672 Rivoli Street (RLH RR 17-4) Legislative Hearing September 12, 2017 and Council Public Hearing September 20, 2017.
• 689 Conway Street (RLH RR 17-14) Legislative Hearing November 28, 2017 and Council Public Hearing December 6, 2017.
RESOLVED, that the Legislative Hearing Officer shall provide at least 2 wee ks’ notice to all interested parties of the hearing at which these findings will be made.
