Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  November 15 for vacant notice and November 14 for SAO

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Staff asked appellant if he wanted to include the Summary Abatement Order and he responded affirmatively. 

 

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Jay Mitchell, Universal Construction, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice and Summary Abatement Order at 1191 MINNEHAHA AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension to December 20, 2019 to get Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated or the property must be vacated by January 20, 2020.  If the Fire C of O is reinstated, grant to June 1, 2020 for the exterior painting; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
