Authorizing the City to enter into the attached Lease Agreement with Macalester-Groveland Community Council for office space at Edgcumbe Recreation Center.
Body
WHEREAS, Macalester-Groveland Community Council wishes to renew their lease agreement with the City of Saint Paul Department of Parks and Recreation for office space at Edgcumbe Recreation Center, 320 South Griggs, Saint Paul, MN 55105; and
WHEREAS, Macalester-Groveland Community Council fosters citizen participation in government and community decisions that make our neighborhood a desirable place to live, work and play; and
WHEREAS, Macalester-Groveland Community Council has leased office space at Edgcumbe Recreation Center since 1990; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation believes lease of office space at the recreation center is an acceptable use of the space and does not detract from the delivery of recreation services; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes the appropriate City officials to enter into the attached Agreement.
