Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation in the amount of $500, from the Northwest Como Booster Club, to be used as reimbursement for supplies for the Northwest Como halloween bonfire.

WHEREAS, the Northwest Como Booster Club is a non-profit organization that promotes youth programming at Northwest Como Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, the Northwest Como Booster Club wishes to donate $500 to the Department of Parks and Recreation for supplies for the Northwest Como halloween bonfire; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation wishes to accept said donation for supplies for the Northwest Como halloween bonfire; and
WHEREAS, there is no required match of these funds by the City; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council finds that the donation to support programming at Northwest Como Recreation Center has a public purpose; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept said donation from the Northwest Como Booster Club, and thanks them for their generous donation.
