Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, April 2, 2019, 2:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  I purchased property February 8, 2019.  We are getting all utilities hooked up and running.  Permits will be pulled within the next 2 weeks and work has begun.  Looking to get 90 days to finish the home and close out permits.  Home had been vacant 4 years.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Jef Simek, BMS Properties, to a Vacant Building Registration Renewal Notice at 1355 CHARLES AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
