Comments:   On re-inspection on July 11, 2014, inspector noted there was a Walter's container at the property; called Walter's and said it had gone to collections and they would be picking up container; inspector sent WO to drop off trash container.  On July 21, 2014, inspector verified that PO had Walter's w/ Fri PU; sent email to remove City container.  Charge is $50 to drop container, $50 one week service, $50 to pick up container, plus admin fees.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Trash Hauling services during July 2 to 30, 2014. (File No. J1501G, Assessment No. 158700) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
 
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and
 
WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby ratified and reduced from $310 to $155 and payable in one installment.
