Announcing the February 2, 2011 City Council public hearing regarding the I-94 rehabilitation project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MN/DOT) plans to rehabilitate Interstate 94 and its accesses from Nicollet Avenue to Cretin Avenue starting in March 2011, and
WHEREAS, MN/DOT and their consultants have worked with City staff and a City appointed Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) to address City safety and aesthetics concerns and have submitted a final layout to the City for review, comment and municipal consent, and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 161.164 requires the City to hold a public hearing prior to providing municipal consent and provide a 30 day notice prior to holding the public hearing, and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City will hold a public hearing on the I-94 Rehabilitation Project (S.P. 2781-415) at the scheduled February 2, 2011 City Council meeting.
