Pertaining to a lease agreement with MP Integrated Solutions, LLC to provide for wireless operations at the Board’s Fairgrounds Water Tower site located at 1530 Cosgrove Street in Falcon Heights.

WHEREAS, MP Integrated Solutions, LLC desires to lease space from the Board of Water Commissioners on the Board’s Fairgrounds Water Tower located at 1530 Cosgrove Street in the city of Falcon Heights, so that it can sublease that space to New Cingular Wireless PCS LLC for the installation of equipment necessary to provide supplemental wireless coverage during the Minnesota State Fair; and
WHEREAS, staff has prepared a Lease Agreement which allows for said installation and which provides for a 5-year term that automatically renews for three additional 5-year terms, starting at annual rent of $15,600 and increasing each year by five percent (5%); and
WHEREAS, staff has recommended approval of said Lease Agreement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Lease Agreement between the Board of Water Commissioners and MP Integrated Solutions, LLC allowing for the installation of wireless equipment at the Board’s Fairgrounds Water Tower site is hereby approved in substantially the form submitted, and that the proper officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Lease Agreement on behalf of the Board following approval by the assistant city attorney.
