Purpose of Appeal: Our home should be finished by mid October. We were living in our house and then we had a fire. We will be moving back to our home once our home is finished. The construction company is nearly finished with the restoration. We cannot afford a $2,000 fee in addition to the hardship of being displaced because of the fire.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Sean Sisler to a Vacant Building Registration Renewal Notice at 1907 CHELTON AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
