Amend the Spending and Financing Plan for the Payne Avenue - Whitall to Cook Project for 2010

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has awarded a contract for streetscape improvements under the Payne Avenue from Whitall to Cook project, and
WHEREAS, this project was originally adopted by City Council Resolution 10-469, known as SU-0502326, and
WHEREAS, bids for the project came in higher than the estimated budgeted amount due in part to some additional signal work and tree plantings that were added to the contract, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Chapter 57.09 of the Administrative Code of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation , funds of $72,733 in excess of those estimated in the 2010 Capital Improvement Budget; so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $72,733 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Capital Improvement Budgets as detailed in the attachment.
