Approving the application for change of ownership to the Dance or Rental Halls license now held by MJ Accents LLC d/b/a MJ Accents LLC (License ID #20230001969) for the premises located at 670 Payne Avenue.

WHEREAS, MJ Accents LLC d/b/a MJ Accents LLC (License ID #20230001969) applied for a change of ownership to the Dance or Rental Halls license on October 23, 2023, for the premises located 670 Payne Avenue in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the conditions are reasonable, the application is in order and there are no grounds to deny approval of the license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, the change of ownership for the Dance or Rental Halls license is hereby approved and issued to MJ Accents LLC d/b/a MJ Accents LLC (License ID #20230001969) for the premises located at 670 Payne Avenue in Saint Paul with the following license conditions:
1. The Rental Hall license is issued to this location for a rental hall use only, as defined under Chapter 405 of the City of Saint Paul Legislative Code.
2. Licensee agrees not to rent the building to, operate, and/or allow to be operated on the premises any use that meets the definition of a "public dance hall" as defined under Chapter 405 of the City of Saint Paul Legislative Code.
3. Licensee acknowledges having received a copy of Chapter 405 of the City of Saint Paul Legislative Code.
