Requesting that the City levy property taxes for the Saint Paul Public Library Agency.

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Saint Paul Administrative Code §14.05, Mayor Her presented to the Library Board on August 13, 2026, the Library Agency's 2027 proposed budget, with said recommended budget totaling $26,537,814; and
WHEREAS, the budget requested by the Library Agency and proposed by the Mayor includes, as part of the comprehensive 2027 financing plan for the Saint Paul Public Library Agency, that the net property tax levy payable in 2027 be $24,571,047 as detailed below:

Now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that in accordance with Saint Paul Administrative Code §14.05(g), the Library Board requests that the City of Saint Paul set this maximum levy on behalf of the Library Agency, and certify to the Ramsey County Auditor the portion of the proposed maximum tax levy shown for the City of Saint Paul for the Saint Paul Library Agency for taxes payable in 2027.
