Purpose of Appeal
#3 of the Correction Notice. It was noticed that a piece of duct tape was put on one section of the joined ducts and I removed the duct tape and reapplied aluminum tape and re-secured the entire duct. This work does not require a permit. It was installed originally by professional people from Appliance Company.
#4 These windows have been appealed and approved by this City inspector from previous inspection. I cannot fix the window size unless the building is torn down.

Legislative Hearing Officer Recommendation
Grant the appeal on the dryer exhaust duct, and deny the variance on the egress bedroom windows in Unit 5 and grant an extension for 90 days.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Shoua Xiong to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 376 FULLER AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal on the dryer exhaust duct, and deny the variance on the egress bedroom windows in Unit 5 and grant an extension for 90 days; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
