Approving the Mayor's appointment of Daniel Edgerton, David Chung, Matthew Keliher, Dan Waddell, Kenlyn Kjesbo, and Stuart Orlowski and the reappointment of Lauren Dees-Erickson, William O'Brien, Pang Yang, and Makayla Cox as members of the Capital Improvement Budget Committee.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Code of Ordinances Section 57.05 states that the Long-Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee of Saint Paul is composed of 18-members with at least four (4) members shall be appointed from each Minnesota state senate district, (64, 65, and 67) and at least two (2) members shall be appointed from each senate district 66 located partly within the city; and
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Budget Committee reviews and ranks project proposals submitted by City departments, district councils, and neighborhood organizations and recommends a bi-annual budget to fund capital improvements such as street reconstruction, park improvements, and the renovation of libraries and recreation centers; and
WHEREAS, Daniel Edgerton (SD 66), David Chung (SD 65), Makayla Cox (SD 65), Lauren Dees-Erickson (SD 64), Matthew Keliher (SD 66), Dan Waddell (SD 64), Kenlyn Kjesbo (SD 67), Stuart Orlowski (SD 65), William O'Brien (SD 64), and Pang Yang (SD 66), are residents of the applicable Senate Districts (SD) and applied to fill vacancies on the Capital Improvement Budget Committee; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Kaohly Her on the recommendation of staff, wishes to appoint Daniel Edgerton, David Chung, Makayla Cox, Lauren Dees-Erickson, Matthew Keliher, Dan Waddell, Kenlyn Kjesbo, Stuart Orlowski, William O'Brien, and Pang Yang to a three-year term on the Capital Improvement Budget Committee; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the Mayor's reappointment of Lauren Dees-Erickson, William O'Brien, Pang Yang, and Makayla Cox to a three-year term on the Capital Improvement Budget Committee with a term expiration date of December 31, 2029....
