Resolution in Appreciation of Paul Dubruiel's 30 Years of Service to the City of Saint Paul

WHEREAS, Paul Dubruiel started working for the City’s Department of Planning & Economic Development in 1995; and
WHEREAS, Paul became a go-to resource for subdivision issues, including the basics that would normally overwhelm any property owner and the arcane details that might trip up even the most seasoned private sector professional; and
WHEREAS, in the course of his work, Paul made countless personal connections with colleagues across the City and outside agencies, giving government service a friendly and genuine personal touch; and
WHEREAS, Paul also made many connections with survey professionals and engineers, becoming a trusted resource and guide to City processes; and
WHEREAS, Paul has been known to collect and disseminate travel and dining advice to his colleagues; and
WHEREAS, in retirement, his many friends at the City and beyond wish Paul well and hope that he continues to research travel destinations near and far for his own enjoyment, as well as spend more time with family;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Paul Dubruiel is commended for his 30 years of distinguished service to the City of Saint Paul.
