WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD) wishes to enter into a contract with the State of Minnesota, Commissioner of Public Safety which includes an indemnification clause; and
WHEREAS, this agreement requires the SPPD to provide a qualified instructor to train in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) grant program; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the council approves entering into and authorizes Assistant Chief Kathleen Wuorinen to implement the grant contract with the State of Minnesota which includes an indemnification clause.
