WHEREAS on January 7, 2015, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 14-76, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Vacant Building fees billed November 18, 2013 to June 25, 2014. (File No. VB1501, Assessment No. 158800); and
WHEREAS, the property at 1474 Brompton Street, being described as: St Anthony Park North Lot 31 Blk 9, with the property identification number 20-29-23-24-0036 was assessed an amount of $1729.28; and
WHEREAS, Department of Safety and Inspections staff recommends deleting the assessment because there was a waiver until August 2, 2015 but the fee was mistakenly assessed on June 30, 2015 and the building has been demoed;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $1729.28, plus any accrued interests, is deleted and the Offices of Financial Services will abate this reduction from the 2016 Property Taxes Statement. Council File No. RLH AR 14-76 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
