Authorizing the City, on behalf of the Department of Parks and Recreation (Department), to accept a donation in the amount of $1,000 from the Mechanic Arts High School M Club to support youth programming at Frogtown Community Center and West Minnehaha Recreation Center.

WHEREAS, the Department, through recreation centers and programs, offers many events, classes, and activities for youth and families in the City; and
WHEREAS, the Mechanic Arts High School M Club wishes to donate $1,000 for use to enhance youth programming within the City; and
WHEREAS, said funds will be used to create and support programs for neighborhood youth
offered by the Department at Recreation Centers and programs; and
WHEREAS, the City, on behalf of the Department, wishes to accept said cash donation to support youth activities and programing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this cash donation has a public purpose; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby authorizes the Department to accept said $1,000 from the Mechanic Arts High School M Club to support Recreation Services programming, and thanks them for their generous donation.
