Title

Authorizing the appropriate personnel to enter into MnDOT Detour Agreement No. 1035534 for the Trunk Highway 952A (Robert Street Bridge) project.

Body

WHEREAS, the State is about to perform bridge construction upon, along and adjacent to Trunk Highway 952A (Robert Street Bridge) under State Project S.P. 6217-44 (T.H. 952A = 334),

AND WHEREAS, the State requires a detour to carry Trunk Highway No. 952A traffic on East Kellogg Boulevard, Wabasha St., 5^th St. and Plato Blvd. during the construction,

AND WHEREAS, the State is willing to reimburse the City for the road life consumed by the detour as set forth in the attached agreement,

AND WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 471.59, subdivision 10 and 161.25, subdivision 2(b), authorize the parties to enter into this Agreement.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:

That the City of Saint Paul enter into MnDOT Detour Agreement No. 1035534 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes:

To Provide for payment by the State to the City for the use of East Kellogg Boulevard, Wabasha St., 5^th St. and Plato Blvd. as a detour route during the contract construction to be performed upon, along and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 952A from Fillmore Avenue to East Kellogg Blvd. under State Project No. 6217-44 (T.H. 952A = 334).

Be it further resolved that the Mayor and the proper City officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any attachments to the Agreement.
