Authorizing the Police Department to reallocate budget for the 2024 Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) grant for the approved budget modification received from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

Body

Administrative Order, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in section 10.07.4 of the City Charter and based on the request of the Chief of Police, to amend the 2026 grant fund and activity budget for the 2024 Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) grant and to authorize the Director of Financial Services to amend the budget in the manner specified in the attached financial analysis. The reallocation of the budget is based on the approved grant modification received from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Homeland Security and Emergency Management.
