WHEREAS, Sara Grewing has resigned her position as Saint Paul City Attorney to accept an appointment to be a Ramsey County District Court judge, with her last day being January 23, 2015; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Laura Pietan as Interim City Attorney while a search for a permanent City Attorney is conducted; be it, therefore

RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul that:

The City Council hereby approves the appointment of Laura Pietan as Interim City Attorney.
