Making finding on the appealed nuisance abatement ordered for 1322 SHERBURNE AVENUE in Council File RLH SAO 23-45.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH SAO 23-45 on December 6, 2023 which granted an extension to June 6, 204 to abate the nuisance conditions with proviso that 1) compliance shall include a re-grading and leveling of the boulevard area with careful regard to maintain the root system of the boulevard in this process; and 2) the appellant and select neighbors present for the Council meeting will continue in conversation with the City Council and Legislative Hearing Officer on improved policies and enforcement procedures relating to boulevard plantings and landscaping at 1322 Sherburne Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on June 11, 2024 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions were abated; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is abated and the matter resolved.
