Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department's grants fund in the amount of $28,700 for the Auto Theft Grant.

Body

WHEREAS, the department finds it necessary to increase the 2014 budget in the Police Special Grant Fund from existing fund balance, to more accurately reflect the grant expenditures for the year; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $28,700 in excess of those estimated in the 2014 budget; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2014 budget; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Police Department financing and spending plan is amended and the City Council approves the changes to the 2014 budget.
