WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Jayant Saraph and Anna Rauvola to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 601 CLIFFORD STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal on the basement unit, allow continued use of the space for storage, noting the basement can not be used as a third unit; require that the gas line connected to the gas stove be "dead capped" under permit by a licensed plumber or mechanical contractor by January 15, 2012; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
