Accepting the gift of 500 tickets to each of the 17 Minnesota Lynx games from the Minnesota Lynx, and a free meal voucher and free transportation to each game from Visit St. Paul.

WHEREAS, Saint Paul Parks and Recreation strives to provide a variety of fun and exciting summer activities for Saint Paul youth and families; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Lynx would like to provide Saint Paul Parks and Recreation 500 tickets to each of the 17 Minnesota Lynx home games to be used by Saint Paul youth; and
WHEREAS, Visit St. Paul would like to provide 500 free meal vouchers for all 17 Minnesota Lynx home games and free transportation to all games for Saint Paul youth and families; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of the tickets and the meal vouchers and transportation will allow Parks and Recreation to make a fun activity available to Saint Paul youth; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts the gifts of 500 tickets to the Minnesota Lynx home games, and the meal vouchers and free transportation and thanks the Minnesota Lynx and Visit St. Paul for their generous gifts.
