Authorizing the proper City officials to proceed with the acquisition of a parcel of vacant land at 390 Arlington Avenue East.

WHEREAS, the following parcel is a tax-forfeited property held in Trust by the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, acting through its Real Estate Manager, has secured an agreement for the purchase of one parcel of real property located northwest of 390 Arlington Avenue East (PIN No. 20.29.22.32.0019), described as:
Lot 13, Newell's Addition;
The North 34 feet of Lot 14, Newell's Addition.
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Saint Paul requests that the proper City officials purchase this parcel from the State of Minnesota via the Ramsey County Tax Forfeited Lands Division for the stated purpose for storm water management as a part of the Arlington/Arkwright Pond, the value of said property being $4,800.00 plus filing fees of $314.32; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes the proper City officials to proceed with the acquisition of said parcel for a purchase price of Five Thousand One Hundred Fourteen and 32/100 Dollars ($5,114.32), including filing fees payable to Ramsey County for the above described parcel. Said sum is to be charged to Account Code: 1-64031710-76805-3164090000-76005.
