Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept donations of food, decorations, and supplies valued at $1,000 from the Duluth and Case Recreation Center Booster Club, a non-profit organization, to host a Community Holiday Party at the Duluth and Case Recreation Center.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting permission to accept donations of food, decorations, and supplies valued at $1,000 from the Duluth and Case Recreation Center Booster Club to host a Community Holiday Party at Duluth and Case Recreation Center; and
WHEREAS, the donations, if accepted, will provide food, decorations, and supplies at Duluth and Case Recreation Center for a Community Holiday Party; and
WHEREAS, there is no required match of these funds by the City; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council finds that the donation of these items to support a Community Holiday Party at Duluth and Case Recreation Center has a public purpose; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes the Parks and Recreation
Department to accept donations valued at $1,000 from the Duluth and Case Booster Club and thanks them for their generous donation.
