Accepting the gift of conference registration from the Minnesota Task Force One team for Fire District Chief Sam Breckenridge to attend the 2026 State Urban Search and Rescue Alliance (SUSAR) conference.

WHEREAS, the Minnesota Task Force One team has offered to pay the conference registration expense for Saint Paul Fire District Chief Sam Breckenridge to attend the 2026 State Urban Search and Rescue Alliance (SUSAR) conference in Orlando, FL from November 16-18, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds the SPFD's participation in the conference is beneficial to the City because it helps SPFD foster relationships with other fire departments and the Minnesota Task Force One team in the search and rescue practices; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of the cost of the conference registration from the Minnesota Task Force One team.
