Accepting the gift of the costs of travel, food, and lodging expenses from the Knight Foundation for Chief Resilience Officer Russ Stark to attend an Infrastructure Innovation Summit in Washington DC, on November 28-29, 2023.

WHEREAS, the Bloomberg Center for Cities at Harvard University is convening an Infrastructure Innovation Summit in Washington DC, and Russ Stark has been invited to participate; and
WHEREAS, at the Summit, participants will have the opportunity to learn and gain new insights regarding innovative approaches to the development of equitable infrastructure; and
WHEREAS the Knight Foundation has offered to pay all travel, food, and lodging expenses for the trip; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul finds that attendance at the Infrastructure Innovation Summit will be beneficial to the City in providing a deeper understanding of innovative, sustainable approaches to urban development and mobility options; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of up to $1,500 toward the cost of travel, food, and lodging expenses for Russ Stark to attend the Infrastructure Innovation Summit In Washington DC November 29-29, 2023, and thanks the Knight Foundation for the generous gift to the City.
