WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Stewart Mednick to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 1260 SEVENTH STREET EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council 1) grant a 3-inch variance on the openable width of the egress window in the attic; 2) deny the appeal and grant an extension to February 1, 2012 to cap or remove the tank in the basement; 3) deny the appeal on the ordered painting and repair of the fence, allowing that an extension on the painting will be provided to June 30, 2012, if broken sections and boards of the fencebe repaired by December 1, 2011; and 4) deny the appeal on the dryer and order that it be immediately disconnected and taken out of pending permitted repair or remocal by December 1, 2011; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
