Establishing intent for one-time special funds budgeted for consulting services in OFS.
Body
WHEREAS, the 2026 adopted budget includes $100,000 of one-time special funds for consulting services in the Office of Financial Services; and
WHEREAS, the funds were originally intended to support a shift to priority-based budgeting; and
WHEREAS, OFS has identified a priority need to use the funds to support consulting services for annual financial reporting;
ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in section 10.07.04 of the City Charter, and on the recommendation of the Office of Financial Services, the funds will continue to be used by OFS for consulting services as adopted in the 2026 budget, and the purpose of those services will be to support annual financial reporting. This is budget neutral.
