Approving the Mayor's reappointment of Samantha Juneau to the Administrative Committee of the Pension Plan of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority.
Body
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota (HRA) is a legally distinct public entity that undertakes housing, commercial, and business development activities; and
WHEREAS, the HRA authorizes the acquisition of real estate, housing, and commercial loans and grants and the issuance of bonds; and
WHEREAS, the organizational documents of the Pension Plan of the HRA provide that the Mayor, with the consent of the City Council, shall appoint one member to the Plan's Administrative Committee for a three-year term; and
WHEREAS, according to RES 23-1982, Samantha Juneau was consented and appointed to the Administrative Committee of the Pension Plan of the HRA for a term that expired on July 1, 2026; and
WHEREAS, Samantha Juneau has applied for consideration for reappointment to the Administrative Committee of the Pension Plan of the HRA; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Kaohly Her wishes to reappoint Samantha Juneau to the Administrative Committee of the Pension Plan of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority with a term end date of July 01, 2029; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the reappointment of Samantha Juneau to serve on the Administrative Committee of the Pension Plan of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority with a term end date of July 01, 2029.
