Authorizing the Fire Department to apply for the Capitol Region Watershed District maintenance grant.

WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to apply for the Capitol Region Watershed District maintenance grant for the revitalization and maintenance of the green roof at Station 1/Fire Department headquarters;
WHEREAS, the grant amount would be for a 50% project annual match up to $2,000 a year for 10 years; and
WHEREAS, the Grants Division of the Office of Financial Services has reviewed and approved the Intent to Apply request; and
WHEREAS, the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in the grant agreement, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council authorizes the Fire Department to apply for this grant.
