Pertaining to accepting a Met Council grant, amending the 2026 adopted budget to include the grant amount.
Body
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul (“Board”) adopted its 2026 budget in September 2025; and
WHEREAS, staff had been directed by the Board at its April 14, 2026, meeting to apply for $53,000 in Water Efficiency Grant Program funding from the Metropolitan Council to be used for toilet efficiency program; and
WHEREAS, the Board has been awarded $53,000 through Metropolitan Council for a toilet efficiency program beneficial to participating property owners; and
WHEREAS, SPRWS wishes to budget said additional Funds and amend the 2026 financing and spending budget: now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Board of Water Commissioners does hereby amend the 2026 budget.
