8/12/2025 2:56 PMRobert Craft For The coming utility work, road repair and viaduct replacement on Robert Street will be the most disruptive project on the West Side since the Flats were bulldozed by the Port Authority. Three years of detours and lost sales await this community with struggling businesses and households impacted daily. District Council 3's WSCO Land Use Circle has worked with MnDOT and community stake holders to create a platform for addressing the disruption. We request City Council support for the Robert Street Accountability Taskforce that will provide a community led platform to ensure timely communication and problem resolution throughout the project. John Traxler's Captain Ken's Foods email is a wonderful example of the kind of detail planning that all of the businesses and households adjacent to Robert Street require. The Taskforce is our means implementing that kind of thoughtful work for all of the West Side. Bob Craft - WSCO Land Use volunteer 38 year resident of the West Side
