Title

Amending the 2025 spending budget in the Department of Public Works, moving $100,000 of expenses from Summer Street Maintenance to Traffic Signs and Markings to accommodate FY25 needs for traffic marking materials.

Body

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works FY25 budget allocated $100,000 in Other Services in the Summer Street Maintenance accounting unit; and

WHEREAS, there is a corresponding need in the FY25 budget in General Fund Street Maintenance division to invest more in traffic marking materials; therefore via

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter, and on the request of the Director of Public Works to amend the 2025 spending budget for the reallocation of funds within existing budgets. The Director of the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the manner specified in the attached financial analysis.
