Ratifying the assessment for Rubbish and Garbage Clean Up services during March 27 to April 9, 2024. (File No. J2424R, Assessment No. 248530)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 24-1021 accepted the Report of Completion for Rubbish and Garbage Clean Up on Private Properties during the time period of March 27 to April 9, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has considered objections of affected property owners and developed recommendations for the City Council with respect to their assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on October 2, 2024 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; and
WHEREAS, the assessment amount for each property will be payable in a term of 1 year, with the property taxes in 2025; unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments with the exception of the following which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 24-33: 1029 Hudson Road;
RLH TA 24-322: 593 Magnolia Avenue East;
RLH TA 24-326: 1300 Payne Avenue;
RLH TA 24-334: 694 Western Avenue North; and
WHEREAS, the assessments will bear an interest rate of 5.65 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of this resolution; and
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 429 of Minnesota State Statues and Chapter 60 of the Saint Pail Administrative Code, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified or amended.
