Purpose of Appeal
This home was purchased by me on Sept. 2012 needing many repairs and updates:  roof was leaking and all repairs were made in a timely manner.  This home is in very good condition now.  I lived there for 7 months as I made interior repairs.  This is not a vacant bldg. and I am trying again to obtain a certificate of occupancy.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Bill Bernier to a letter dated August 27, 2014 requiring the owner to complete a vacant building registration form and registration fee for 1940 REANEY AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant until October 1, 2014 for owner to address the issues or the building must be vacated; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
