Accepting the gift from Allianz Field for rental space expenses for a community event.

WHEREAS, Council Member Mitra Jalali is hosting a ward-level budget community meeting to gather feedback and ideas in regards to the 2025 budget at Allianz Field Brew Hall; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this meeting is to better understand the annual budget process, city trends, factors affecting this year’s budget decisions and timeline; and
WHEREAS, participants will also share their ward-specific and citywide budget priorities and interests; and
WHEREAS, this community event will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm; and
WHEREAS, Allianz Field will be waiving the rental space expense for this event located at the Brew Hall; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of $4,625.00 for the rental space expense from Allianz Field.
