Establishing the rate of pay for Zoo and Conservatory Attendant-Year Round, and changing the rate of pay for the existing Zoo and Conservatory Attendant in the AFSCME Clerical employee group, EG 01.

WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources conducted a study for the Zoo and Conservatory Attendant classification; and
WHEREAS, the results of the study determined the new classification of Zoo and Conservatory Attendant-Year Round, Job Code 910102, be established at Grade 009 of the AFSCME Clerical Salary Schedule, Employee Group 01, with the steps outlined in the chart below, and
WHEREAS, the existing classification of Zoo and Conservatory Attendant, Job Code 910101, be changed from that set forth in Grade 04U to that set for in Grade 009 of the AFSCME Clerical Salary Schedule, Employee Group 01, changing from one rate to multiple rates of pay as detailed in the same chart below, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the classification of Zoo and Conservatory Attendant, Job Code 910101, be moved to Grade 009, and the new classification of Zoo and Conservatory Attendant-Year Round be established at the rate set forth in Grade 009 of the AFSCME-Clerical Salary Schedule, Employee Group 01, with the new rates reflected in the chart below. This resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period following its passage and approval.
