Body

WHEREAS on June 21, 2017, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 17-45, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during January 11 to 20, 2017. (File No. VB1711, Assessment No. 178814); and

WHEREAS, the property at 797 Duluth Street, being described as: Terrys Addition Lot 1 Blk 3, with the property identification number 28-29-22-43-0026 was assessed an amount of $2,240.00; and

WHEREAS, Department of Safety & Inspections staff recommends deleting the assessment.  The property is owned by Ramsey County Tax Forfeited Land and the fee should have not gone to assessment; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2,240, plus any accrued interests, be deleted.  Council File No. RLH AR 17-45 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
