Authorizing a professional services contract with United Strategies LLC for general lobbying services.
Body
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Administrative Code §45.03 requires that all contracts for lobbying activities be first authorized by resolution of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor’s Office wishes to contract with United Strategies LLC to provide legislative lobbying services at the State Legislature on behalf of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the scope of services indicated above is consistent with the City’s state legislative agenda; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the appropriate City officials to enter into a professional services agreement with United Strategies LLC.
