Accepting a permanent storm sewer easement from the Saint Paul Port Authority over the Authority's property at 935 Childs Road.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Public Works Department ("City") has requested a 30-foot wide permanent storm sewer easement ("Easement") on property owned by the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul ("Port Authority") at 935 Childs Road to permit the City to maintain, repair and replace an 18-inch corrugated metal pipe between the off-ramp of Warner Road onto Childs Road south to an outlet structure at the Mississippi River; and
WHEREAS, the Port Authority has agreed to grant said Easement to the City, as described and depicted in the Dedication of Easement and survey drawing attached hereto as Exhibit A; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby accept said Easement on behalf of the City of Saint Paul, in a form and content substantially as set forth in Exhibit A, and authorizes and directs the proper city officials to record same with the Ramsey County Recorder's Office and/or Registrar of Titles.
