Ratifying the Assessments for Excessive Use of Inspection Services billed from May 25 to July 19, 2012 (File No. J1301E, Assessment No. 138300).
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 12-1781 accepted the Report of Completion for Excessive Use of Inspection Service for the Property Code Violations billed during the time period of May 25 to July, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on January 2, 2013 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Ch. 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are herby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
TA 12-554 - 915 Agate Street;
TA 12-612 - 249 Aurora Avenue;
TA 12-565 - 702 Aurora Avenue;
TA 12-582 - 286 Bates Avenue;
TA 12-552 - 1590 Beech Street;
TA 12-561 - 964 Edmund Avenue;
TA 12-545 - 1207 Fifth Street East;
TA 12-509 - 1111 Fourth Street East;
TA 12-548 - 1111 Fourth Street East;
TA 12-514 - 657 Gotzian Street;
TA 12-518 - 1845 Hawthorne Avenue East;
TA 12-544 - 1385 Margaret Street;
TA 12-546 - 786 Maryland Avenue East;
TA 12-547 - 1494 Scheffer Avenue;
TA 12-530 - 1101 Sixth Street East; And, Be It
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
