WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 12-1780 accepted the Report of Completion for Vacant Building Fees billed during the time period of March 23 to June 21, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on January 2, 2013 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Ch. 14 of the City Charter and Ch. 60 of the Administrative Code, the assessments are herby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:
RLH TA 12-560 - 1157 Breen Street;
RLH TA 12-593 - 1512 Concordia Avenue;
RLH TA 12-550 - 750 Edgerton Street;
RLH TA 12-559 - 1138 Forest Street;
RLH TA 12-557 - 782 Frank Street;
RLH TA 12-562 - 1411 Ivy Avenue East;
RLH TA 12-563 - 1016 Pacific Street;
RLH TA 13-X - 1160 Montreal Avenue (to be referred back to Legislative Hearing on January 8, 2013 and City Council Public Hearing on February 20, 2013)
RLH TAX 13-X - 1161 Norton Street (to be referred back to Legislative Hearing on January 22, 2013 and City Council Public Hearing on February 6, 2013); And, Be It
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
