Accepting the gift of conference registration fees in the amount of $125 from the Friends of St. Paul Public Libraries for Finance Director, Todd Hurley, to attend the BookExpo America Conference in New York City on May 28, 2015.

WHEREAS, The Friends of St. Paul Public Libraries has invited Finance Director, Todd Hurley to attend the BookExpo America Conference on May 28, 2015 and
WHEREAS, Finance Director, Todd Hurley will have the opportunity to discuss materials budgets, purchasing trends, and interact with peers in the Library industry; and
WHEREAS, the organization has offered to pay for the $125 cost of registration to the conference; and
WHEREAS, the City Council and the City of Saint Paul find that attendance at the conference will be beneficial to the City and that acceptance of the offer of registration will facilitate this opportunity; now; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of the cost of registration to the BookExpo America Conference, and thanks to the Friends of St. Paul Public Libraries for its generous gift.
