Authorizing the proper City officials to enter into Cooperative Construction Agreement #03437 with the Minnesota Department of Transportation regarding the MnPass system along Trunk Highway No. 35E.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Department of Public Works proposes to enter into Mn/DOT Agreement No. 03437 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation, and
WHEREAS, Agreement No. 03437 provides for payment by the City to the State for the City's share of the proposed capital improvements to be made on the T.H. 35E/MnPASS project also known as State Project No. 6280-367, and
WHEREAS, the City's share of the project cost is for the extra shoulder width and sidewalk construction on the Arlington, Wheelock and Larpenteur Bridges being replaced under this project, as well as other associated construction to be performed upon, along and adjacent to Trunk Highway 35E from Maryland Avenue to just north of Little Canada Road within the corporate City limits, so
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul to authorize the proper City officials to execute Mn/DOT Agreement No. 03437, and any amendments to the Agreement, between the City of Saint Paul and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
