Approving the contract for Messerli & Kramer to provide lobbying services for the City of Saint Paul.
Body
WHEREAS, Saint Paul Administrative Code ยง45.03 requires that all contracts for lobbying activities be first authorized by resolution of the city council; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor's Office wishes to contract with Messerli & Kramer to provide, among other services, legislative lobbying for the construction of the Saint Paul Saints ballpark; and
WHEREAS, the city council finds that the scope of services in the proposed agreement are consistent with the city's legislative agenda; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the city council authorizes the appropriate city officials to enter into the attached professional services agreement with Messerli & Kramer.
